My current musical addiction is the album Imaginaerium by Nightwish. It's actually in the process of becoming a film, and they couldn't have picked stronger material for it. Just have a listen.
This is the first single, "Storytime." Not only is the videography quite amazing in its own right, I love this song. (Plus, I LOVE Anette Olzon's voice.) This is actually what they are touring to support (and who I'm going to see in October!).
Co-touring with Nightwish, and a perennial favorite of mine, Kamelot. This is one of my favorite songs by them, "Center of the Universe."
Sadly, Roy Khan had to leave the band due to to his health and for personal reasons. However, they chose a new singer for this tour and their upcoming album, Tommy Karevic of the band Seventh Wonder. (He has not expressed wishes to leave Seventh Wonder.) From what I've heard of him, he is more then a replacement for Roy. He is just as good, if different. They have recorded a couple live shows with him, but in all the videos I can find, there's THAT KID, that sings LOUD and OFF-KEY if the front row, right next to the guy recording. So, make do with the following. Imagine, if you will, the music of the previous video, with the singer from the following one, (Song titled "One Last Goodbye" by Seventh Wonder, also a good band, check them out as well.)
